Claim to Fame: Sacha Specker has, for many decades, been one of South Africa’s best bodyboarders, winning competitions both in South Africa and Hawaii. He won the Pipe DK title twice and walked away with the 2012 World Title for Drop Knee. He still actively competes in contests and is a regular invitee to the Tand Invitational. Spex is not only a world-class bodyboarder; he is also one of the best surf photographers in the country and a very accomplished shortboarder.
