Mark your calendars and get ready for an epic celebration of sport, sun, and South African beach culture! The Cape Town Pro is back from March 14th to 24th, 2025, promising an action-packed 10 days of bodyboarding and skateboarding across the iconic venues of Llandudno Beach and Eyethu Skate Park in Hout Bay.
Following its stellar debut in 2024, the Cape Town Pro is set to make waves once again as it grows into one of the most anticipated events on the South African action sports calendar.

The 2025 Lineup: Bodyboarding and Skateboarding
Bodyboarding:

As the first official stop on the new SABA South African Bodyboarding Tour, the Cape Town Pro continues to champion this exhilarating sport. The Pro Men’s Division will see the country’s finest riders showcase their skills, trading epic tubes and gravity-defying flips for a shot at the R15,000 cash 1st prize and the prestigious title of Cape Town Pro Champion.
New for 2025 is the Rising Division, aimed at nurturing South Africa’s emerging bodyboarding talent with substantial prize money up for grabs. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a future star, the Cape Town Pro is your platform to shine.
Skateboarding:

For the first time, the Cape Town Pro introduces Professional Skateboarding, taking the excitement to the pristine Eyethu Skate Park in Hout Bay. The event will feature South Africa’s top skaters battling it out for a share of the R16,000 cash prize and the Cape Town Pro Skateboarding Champion title.
The Skateboarding event will also feature a Rising division, again, the same as the bodyboarding event, giving space to the next generation to stand up and get noticed. The winner will walk away a R1000 richer.
The Eyethu Skate Park in Victoria Road, Hout Bay, designed by Dallas Olberholzer, is so much more than just a world-class skate park—it forms part of a vibrant sports-mad community that bridges the gap between rich and poor in Hout Bay. This unique community-driven space also features soccer fields and basketball courts. The competition promises to inspire the local youth and celebrate skateboarding as an integral part of the beach lifestyle we all so enjoy in Cape Town.
Bring your friends, family, sunscreen, and plenty of water—this is an event you don’t want to miss!
