Contest Format
The Cape Town Pro is a second chance event, with the opening round being a non-elimination round.
Heat Structure
The Cape Town Pro hold an IBC Speciality event status. This means there will be some diversion from the norm.
- There are only 48 slots available
- There are a total of 31 Heats
- All heats willl be 4 man heats
- IBC Priority system will be employed
- Round 1 is a non-elimination heat
- Round 2 will be the second chance heat
- Rounds 1 - 3 will be only 15 minutes per heat
- Quarter finals and Semi finals will be 20 minutes long
- The finals will be 30 minutes long
