The Cape Town Pro has a 4-day waiting period, starting on the 15th of March 2024 and ending on the 18th of March 2024, where the best day within that period will be selected to run the event. The public will be notified via social media of start times.
The Cape Town Pro holds the status of an IBC Specialty Event, however it is not a formal stop on the world tour
The Cape Town Pro 2024 is a single division open to all ages, genders, religions. Both national and international riders are welcome to compete in this one of a kind event.
Spots in the event are limited to 48 athletes.
All heat will be 4 man heats with the opening heats running 15 minutes long, the quarter finals and semi finals will be 20 minutes long and the final will run for 30 minutes.
Judging and timing will meet IBC standards.
The contest is due to start at 8am and will wrap by 7pm.
